This course is designed for anybody who is around firearms and may be involved in a situation where they may be called to render aid as a result of combat type trauma such as  gunshot and knife wounds.  Specifically, this course is targeted toward law enforcement personnel, military members and civilian enthusiasts who could find themselves involved in a situation where their actions and interventions could save their own life as well as  a teammates, a family members, or even a stranger’s .  No one wants to imagine being shot on accident, much less on purpose but this class offers you the skills and tools to maybe save a life—possibly your own– if it happens.

The purpose of this course it to familiarize students with the basic concepts and theories of casualty care. This course will also give the student the skills and confidence to perform life saving interventions in stressful situations.
