Foundational Carbine Class
Foundational Carbine
No Prerequisite
This 2-day class is intended to provide students an introduction of the use of a carbine in a defensive situation. Though classroom discussion, the class will explore potential legal and ethical issues surrounding the defensive use of a firearm as well as the fundamentals of carbine marksmanship. Once on the range, the class will employ those fundamentals while practicing the safe loading, unloading, reloading, introduction to malfunction clearing, presentation, and firing of the carbine while also considering the tactical and mental conditioning required to employ the gun. This class will provide an introduction for many students from a static range environment to a dynamic 360 degree mind set.
