Red Dot Transition Course
The Red Dot Transition Course is designed to move shooters from the traditional iron sights to pistol mounted optics. During this 2 day course students will learn:
Fundamentals of Shooting with Red Dot Sights (RDS)
Proper presentation of the pistol with RDS
Benefits of Target Focus vs. Iron Sight Focus
Utilization of the RDS in low light conditions
Alternate aiming techniques and much more!
Tuition
$400 Per Student
As with all BadLands Tactical courses, students may utilize our lodging here at the Village at no extra cost. The Village offers 2-man rooms, each with a half bath, shower facilities, along with a commercial size kitchen. Students are responsible for providing their own meals.
Course Required Equipment
- Pistol with at least 3 magazines
- Good quality RDS
- Good quality holster
- Magazine holder
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Appropriate attire for the range.
- Hydration system
- 600 rounds of Ammunition
