Bobby and his wife, Zelphia, are the owners of Badlands Tactical Training Facility. BadLands has been in the business of training military, law enforcement and civilians on the proper and safe use of firearms since 1999.

Bobby has over 38 years of Law Enforcement experience. He retired from the Lawton, Oklahoma Police Department in 2003 as a Master Officer. During his tenure there he:

In 2005, Bobby became the Sheriff of Tillman County, Oklahoma and served in that capacity until he retired in December 2020. During his tenure as Sheriff, Bobby served on the Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training Council for several years.

Bobby was also voted as the Sheriff of the Year in 2015 by the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association for his contributions and dedication to the Office of Sheriff.

Bobby is also retired from the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He entered in the military in 1978 and retired in 2000. He is a combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He was awarded the following decorations for his military service:

During his free time, Bobby enjoys hunting, fishing and long range shooting. But he really enjoys spending time with his Badlands and personal families, especially his grandsons, Auggie and Chisholm!
